What is the difference between a slatted base ottoman and a solid base ottoman?
At Bonanza Sleep, we offer two types of Ottoman bases slatted and solid each designed to suit different installation needs and storage preferences.
The slatted Ottoman base is supplied flat-packed, so it requires more assembly time. However, once assembled, it provides strong and reliable mattress support. It is built using a series of durable wooden slats securely fixed to the frame, creating a stable and supportive sleeping surface.
In contrast, the solid Ottoman base is delivered pre-assembled in two sections. This option is ideal for homes with wider staircases or easier access routes, as its larger structure can be more challenging to manoeuvre into smaller spaces. The solid design features two spacious storage compartments, offering excellent capacity for bedding, clothing, or other household items. Its solid wooden platform also provides enhanced durability and firmer overall mattress support.

Will the product I receive match the images shown?
Yes, the product you receive will match the images displayed on the Bonanza Sleep website. The design, structure, and overall appearance will remain exactly as shown. The only variation will be the colour option, which will be produced according to the selection you make when placing your order.
What does a solid black base lid refer to?
It is an alternative to standard slats. If you want a stronger and more durable base for long-term use, this is the recommended option.
How can I return an item?

Do you offer side-opening Ottoman beds?
Yes, We Do offer Side Opening as well as End lift Opening.
Do you remove old bed frames when delivering a new bed?
Yes, we can remove your old bed frame & Mattress, but there is a charge of £75.
Is it possible to customise the height of the headboard?
Our headboards usually have a maximum height of around 240 cm, and custom heights above this aren’t generally available. You can, however, request a reduced height. Please check the specific bed’s page for more details or Contact us for Guidance.
Are monthly payment plans available?
Yes, we provide monthly payment options via finance partners such as Klarna and Clearpay, letting you spread the cost over a period that fits your budget.
What kinds of furniture do you provide?
We specialise in beds and bedding products, including mattresses, Ottoman storage boxes, bed frames, and pouffes. We do not offer other types of furniture.
